APK is the standard Android package file. XAPK or APKS files may include split packages or extra game assets. A normal APK can usually be opened directly by Android, while XAPK files often need an installer that supports bundled assets.
Before downloading, check whether the product page clearly says APK, XAPK, or another package type. If your phone cannot install a file, the format may not match the installer you are using.
